I wish people would stop making assumptions by saying things like pulling yourself together, or you don’t look disabled. Try and walk in our shoes and be a bit more supportive and compassionate. I have fibromyalgia too, some days I can walk 8 miles, other days I can’t get out of bed, I work, I have kids, I have other health conditions. It’s hard not knowing each day how you are going to feel. Hubby and son both are plagued by fibromyalgia. Heartbreaking to see them feel so useless cause they can’t do things they want to or need to.

I am a nurse and have heard of fibromyalgia.
